SZTE Freshmen Orientation 2024
The University of Szeged warmly welcomes its international freshmen students at the start of the new academic year each year. After an official welcome by University leaders a variety of orientation programs including useful information sessions, cultural and recreational activities are welcoming SZTE Freshmen.

In order to prevent the spread of the new Coronavirus, subject to the decision of the University’s maintainer – keeping in mind the personal safety of the students – the Rector hereby orders for the 12th and the 13th of March Rector’s (educational) break.

Crucial information and important measures concerning the coronavirus disease are now available 24/7 via a student information line from the 10th of March at the University of Szeged. Nearly 150 New Exchange Students Start the Semester at the University of Szeged
In the first week of the spring semester, once again the SZTE organizes an orientation week for the integration of newcomer foreign students. In the spring semester of 2018/2019 almost 150 international students arrived to the SZTE on ERASMUS +, E + International Credit Mobility and Makovecz Program.
