During his early January visit, Braunitzer met Prof. Michele Goldzieher Shedlin (NYU College of Nursing), who taught  at the Faculty of Dentistry for a semester in the 2012/2013 academic year as a Fulbright Scholar. Dr. Braunitzer also had a meeting with Prof. David McLaughlin, provost of New York University (mathematician and neuroscientist), with whom he discussed some interesting issues in Hungarian and American neuroscience.
