On the 16th of November, the Scientific Circle Conference of the Dental students took place at the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Szeged.

The old 20 000 HUF banknotes issued before 2016 were withdrawn on 31 December 2017. Only the new, upgraded banknotes can be used for cash purchases from 1 January 2018.

The old 2000 and 5000 HUF banknotes issued before 2016 were withdrawn on 31 July 2017. Only the new, upgraded banknotes can be used for cash purchases from 1 August 2017.

Between May 12-13 2017, the most reputable dental conference of Hungary took place at the University of Szeged József Attila Study and Information Centre with nearly 700 visitors. In addition to lectures held by world-renowned professionals, section meetings and exhibitions of dental companies welcomed the visitors.

The 14th University Spring Festival, held this year between 10 April – 18 May, will host a huge programme of events. The Cultural Office of University of Szeged organizes several foreign language programme.

Honorary consuls in Szeged together with foreign students celebrated the 30 years of Erasmus and the 15 years of Erasmus Student Network Szeged at the event of Erasmus 30 & ESN 15 organised in the Rector’s Office on 27^th March, 2017.

The ETR will stop on 07/04/2017 and the Neptun system will start on 26/04/2017. During this intermission, the administrative and financial functions of the SIS will not be available.

On March 17th, University of Szeged celebrated the 6th annual International Cultural Evening (ICE 2017). It was held by the International Student Union of Szeged with the help of Faculty of Medicine and students representatives from all over the world. This event is the biggest international students’ party in Szeged that brings our school community together in celebration of our wonderful diversities.
