The University of Szeged is the 470th on the latest Quacquarelly Symonds (QS) ranking, making progress by moving 30 places forward. As a result, SZTE is the best Hungarian university and it is among the best 12% of the considered universities.
British QS – the most recognized company ranking higher education institutions – published its latest ranking on the 6th of June. Around 4000 universities from 85 countries are ranked based on 6 evaluation criteria. When framing up the list, the following aspects are taken into consideration: academic sphere, evaluation of employers, quotation of scientific works and research, proportion of students and teachers as well as the number of international students.
The University of Szeged is ranked on the 470th place on the latest QS World University Rankings 2018/2019 – this is the best Hungarian result. This made SZTE represented in the top 2% of the world's 26,000 universities.
